Overview
Urban Design is a type of user-centred design applied to the built environment. It involves creating safe and accessible places and spaces for people of different ages, backgrounds and levels of physical ability.
Urban Design
Designing people and environment friendly spaces is an iterative process from sketches to detailed masterplans. As an Urban Designer I designed residential masterplans across the UK. As an Environmental Designer in Singapore I worked on such projects as the ‘Punggol Digital District’ and the Sentosa Island masterplan.

I designed residential masterplans across the UK. First undertaking an analysis of the opportunities and constraints of the site, creating a development framework plan and finally a hand drawn illustrative masterplan.

Environmental Design
I was one of the Environmental Design Leads of JTC’s ‘and SiT’s ‘Punggol Digital District’. I created designs for people and environment friendly spaces, collaborating with architects, engineers, developers and consultants, following an iterative process using parametric computational design.

The other $SG1 billion+ project that I worked on in Singapore is the Sentosa Island Masterplan. I collaborated with a multidisciplinary team and undertook engineering calculations and simulations to quantify the impact of design decisions on energy consumption and human comfort.
